The Extreme Wing

The Extreme Wing

This site needs to be updated!! We will be working on this in the coming months with a new design and newer content.  In the meantime please browse around or send us your comments and suggestions.

Since this was originally published, we have been working on perfecting the wing and also added a new design called the S7 – a virtually indestructible 3 axis aircraft to be published here in the coming months.

You may also get more information on what we do (including pictures and discussions from our events) on the RC Groups thread for our local club, the Utah Flyers Organisation

The Extreme Wing is an ultra tough flying wing with an impressive performance envelope from slow flight to high speed dives and vertical climbs.

This wing is so tough, you can

  • Let friends and family fly it
  • Fly full contact combat
  • Fly without any worry of crashing into anything
  • Fly around or under obstacles without worrying about crashing into them
  • The unique Velcro assembly system allows you to change parts (even motors) in seconds.
  • Fly it with a high performance motor for some breath taking combat
  • Fly it as a slope or throw glider
  • Swapping motors takes seconds

Based on the Sipkil 1.7/10B Aerofoil, the Extreme Wing presents a thin section with lower drag without losing structural strength.

The wing maintains energy well and has an impressive glide. This makes for fun flying at high speeds and climb rates through to low and slow turns close by, ending in a catch!

The Extreme Wing design uses Velcro and fiberglass tape to provide a very tough wing. The design also protects the radio, batteries and motors, reducing the damage caused to these sensitive components during a crash.

These things are a BLAST! So fun to fly, much more indestructable than anything I’ve seen. Way to go bro, and thanks again for the combat!

I have been flying RC Airplanes for about 15 years now and these are awesome they take all the fear of hitting the ground out of flying which is going to be awesome while training new RC pilots. I am also very impressed with their stability and ability to do all the basic aerobatics and sustain inverted flight as well. Every person on Earth needs to invest in an EXTREME WING. ~ Bard

THe EXtreme Wing dominates the hobby of flying! It is the final word. He who does not participate in this Extreme hobby should humbly retire from the sport!

The extrewing ROCKS!!!!!! Flew at the point of the mountain today with the power off for 95% of the flight.

I think with some more development the extrewing could end world hunger, cure cancer, make drinking water out of seawater.

Ok maybe that’s a bit muck but it does fly soooooo well.

Have a look. I could have flown all day on one pack in that much lift.

WOW!!! I can not say enough about these truly indestructible wings. I have seen countless times these wings pound into the hill, poles, fences, and of course boulders. Only to have them back into the sky within seconds flying like nothing ever happened!! You have created something that is pain free to fly, crash and combat with. The best part of a good wing is trying to find new way’s to crash it for a laugh…. lol. Your knowledge and expertise has allowed the rest of us a chance to fly wings over 120 mph without flapping, folding or disappearing into dust in the sky. Thanks again for letting me try destroying your wings. I enjoy it!!!!!

I have been flying my extremewing for a couple of months now. I absolutely enjoy everything about it. I slope with it, fly it with inexpensive power systems, and of course combat with it. It has withstood some serious abuse. Still fly’s like a champ. Thanks for a great product.
